2012 Honor Elementary Orchestra
Beginning Honor Orchestra Rehearsals – 1st year Orchestra Students:
When: Mondays February 27 and March 5. 6:30pm-8:00pm
Where: Harvest Middle School Orchestra Room
Workshops are designed for the first year music student with emphasis on establishing a solid foundation for playing an instrument; students will learn to read basic rhythms.
Orchestra consists of violins, violas, cellos and bass. Students must have an instrument to participate and beginning music book recommended.

Intermediate Honor Orchestra Rehearsals for Students with one or more orchestra instruction:
When: Tuesdays February 7,14,21,28 6:30pm-8:00pm
Where: Silverado Middle School Orchestra Room
Honor Orchestra is under the direction of the NVUSD’s music teachers and features college and high school student teaching assistants.
Intermediate Orchestra is designed for students with at least one year of music instruction.
Orchestra consists of violins, violas, cellos, and bass. Students must have an instrument to participate and beginning music book recommended.

The concert for both beginning and intermediate Honor Orchestras will be held Monday March 6th at 6:00pm at the Napa Valley Unified School District Auditorium.
